About this blog...

In 2008, Fire Moth Productions created a WebTV series called Blood & Guts, about a group of largely insane and disfunctional doctors and nurses, and the epic lives they lead. It starred Marc Burrage, Paul Newton, Nick Poffley, Jay Blackwood, and had guest appearances from Dahman Coombes, Bradley Barlow, and Laura Burrage.

After 3 episodes, the steam ran out. None of us had time to film it, and the editing process was tedious on a good day! However, unlike many Fire Moth Productions, I'd actually written the rest of the series, so I have created this blog where I'll share their adventures until I run out of things for them to do.

Enjoy!

Tick Tick Boom

Everyone is trying to stay away from the terrorist, but Saviero assumes the terrorist is a new doctor and tries to talk to him about medicine. He becomes annoyed when the terrorist just jibbers extremism at him, so Saviero shoots him in the face. The hospital celebrates.

Mamadou announces he has installed the new super scanning sick person machine, which Irwin discovers is actually a bomb and now he’s trapped in it.

Pasco is named Hottest Nursing Babe 2011 and has to pose in a bikini for a photo shoot. Upon releasing the calendar, children across the country scream for mercy and wipe blood from their eyes.

Meanwhile, Saviero attempts to diffuse the bomb using paracetamol, but fails.

Irwin announces he’s actually a horse, but Mamadou does tests and proves he’s lying.

Pasco ends up disarming the bomb, but Saviero doesn’t believe a woman could do it, and sets the bomb off to prove his point.

Oops I did it again

The staff struggle to get over their hangovers, so Mamadou takes charge of the hospital. He tries to get everyone to donate their organs, but Irwin slaps him and Mamadou returns to his largely unknown role.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson has his case against Irwin thrown out after a judge decides his terrible appearance in the new "A-Team" movie means he can no longer complain about anyone else. Irwin is now legally allowed to refer to him as "mummy".

Pasco discovers his lady time jam is actual jam he had been keeping in his pants and gets sued by Robertson Jams.

Irwin and Saviero have a rap face off to determine who should treat a patient. Saviero wins with a Britney Spears Megamix, and uses the same Megamix to treat the patient, who makes himself deaf before discharging himself.

Mamadou befriends a young female patient who is dying, but turns out to be a scam artist who steals his arm. He gets it back by offering to trade it for his foot, but after falling down, realises he may have been hasty.

Saviero helps Pasco out of his legal troubles by selling Irwin’s family to the jam company.

A terrorist storms the hospital and starts waving a gun around. Panic ensues.

Alien Invasion!

It turns out it wasn’t Pasco that was killed - it was an ITV reporter here to take over from Pasco on “But that’s my liver!”. Irwin helps cover up the tragedy by having her stuffed and sent to report on a cat fashion show.

Mamadou sets up a harvested organ market stall when his organ dealers get raided by the FBI.

Saviero discovers aliens are trying to inhabit the bottoms of all the female nurses, and tries to convince Pasco to let him check his. Pasco shows his usual restraint and breaks Saviero's nose with a clipboard.

Irwin ends up having a fight with the leader of the aliens, but gets emotionally battered when he discovers it’s his mother.

Mamadou escapes the FBI by convincing them he's Nelson Mandela, and returns to find all the hospital staff engaged in battles with a traveling rectal inspection department, and realizes he’d stored his keg of whiskey in the water cooler, getting everyone drunk.

The "alien" Irwin thought was his mother is in fact newly retrained UFC fighter Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, who sues Irwin for trying to be his son.

Previously, on Blood & Guts

The headless man turned out to be a homeless man that Irwin got confused with his wife. The baby turns out to be a dead dog which Saviero adopts as his own child.

Pasco discovers Mamadou harvesting organs, but instead of reporting him, turns it into an inappropriate reality tv show for ITV called “But that’s my liver!”.

Mamadou helps Saviero feed his dead dog baby with some butchered lungs, bringing the dead dog back to life, and attacking Irwin. His arm gets cut off and its up to Saviero to stitch it back on. He tries hard, but ends up attaching it to Mamadou’s leg. In the end the dog, who has now become super intelligent, performs the surgery himself and saves the day.

Mamadou suddenly announces he might have killed Pasco in all the confusion.
